America at war

 

Many Americans don’t seem to accept or believe that we are at war. It was not a war be wanted or started, but one the Osama bin Laden declared against us years ago, long before 9/11/03. He was attacking Americans and our interest in other countries and had already tried to bring down the Twin Towers in NY, but we didn’t get smart until it actually happened on the second try. If we quit, he won’t. That is the problem. President Bush is keeping his word and we are fighting the war against them overseas in IRAQ, not in America. If we withdraw, we loose and they will just come here in bigger numbers to fight us within our own borders. The political idiots in the Democratic Party don’t seem to understand these facts. All they care about is getting back the presidency not about the war that we didn’t really start and have no choice in fighting.

 

They scream about the 87 billion to keep up the fight and work in Iraq, yet no one screamed at 400 billion for Medicare entitlements. And is that not a reasonable price to pay to keep the war away from our people here and fight them there and have more security for American’s?  Oh, if we are not at war, the 87 billion is way to big a price to pay and so is every life being lost. But we have to make up our minds and use some common sense, which seems to be very uncommon today. When you are at war, the side that stops, gives up, surrenders and looses. Period! Can we afford to loose this war? This is a war to death.

 

We didn’t do anything to provoke them in 1993 when they attempted to destroy the World Trade Centers any more than in 2001, when they succeeded on the second try. They just miscalculated in 1993 or they would have come down then. Part of the reason was that we didn’t start trying to fight back earlier. What else has to happen for our people to accept and believe this? We didn’t cause all the other attacks against us. It is not what we do, but who we are and what we represent that they see as a threat to the Muslim culture. We need to stay where we are and fight to survive or we will pay the price here at home again. Prescriptions will do no one any good if we face another 9/11.
